Google acknowledged its failure with respects to this platform: the social network was so under-utilized that the costs to maintain Google+ were too high and with little to no return. The Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) project with the US Department of Defense had intended to include the use of artificial intelligence for weapons. This acquisition will allow LinkedIn to oversee the engagement of their employees.
